For over four decades, Bygging has specialised in equipment and engineering solutions for the construction, repair and maintenance of field-erected storage tanks. Our product range includes hydraulic tank jacking systems, automatic tank welding equipment, telescopic jacks for bolted tanks and grain storage silos, and strand jacks for specialised heavy lifting applications.

Bygging equipment has been supplied across 97+ countries and used in the construction of 7,000+ tanks at more than 500 locations worldwide. Our experience covers projects across the oil & gas, petrochemical, LNG, power, water, chemical, edible oil, grain storage and other process industries.

Our focus has always been on solving practical problems faced by tank builders on site. From developing faster double-acting hydraulic jacks and lifting-hook systems that avoid welding of lifting cleats to the tank shell, to retractable jacks that enable automatic internal welding, many of our products have evolved directly from decades of field experience.

Bygging manufactures its hydraulic lifting and automatic welding equipment at its manufacturing facility in Navi Mumbai, India. In addition to supplying equipment, we support customers with jacking layouts, stability calculations, method statements, risk analyses, technical guidance, commissioning assistance and experienced site technicians.

Whether a customer is constructing a new API storage tank, replacing a tank bottom, increasing tank capacity or undertaking a specialised heavy lift, our objective remains the same: to make the operation safer, faster and more productive.
