Other Lifting Applications
Bygging's experience in controlled hydraulic lifting extends beyond conventional welded storage tanks. Different structures require different lifting principles depending on their geometry, load, available lifting points, required stroke and degree of synchronisation.
For these applications, Bygging manufactures two additional families of hydraulic lifting equipment:
Telescopic jacks for grain storage silos and for bolted tanks
Designed principally for the erection of grain storage silos, grain dryers, bolted tanks and smaller welded tanks. Their telescopic lifting arrangement makes them particularly suitable for structures assembled progressively from successive shell rings.

Strand jacks
Used for specialised heavy lifting operations where loads are suspended or raised using high-tensile steel strands. Applications have included steel chimney flues, horizontal tanks, vessels, de-aerators and boiler drums, with multi-strand systems available for heavier synchronised lifts.
